Fees and Insurance
One of the first questions potential clients ask me is “okay, so how much does therapy cost?” And I totally get it! The most important thing to know is that therapy is an investment that can improve your life dramatically! It’s hard to speak to the value you will find in therapy because it is an experience, however, I can speak to the benefits!

Insurance
I am now accepting select insurance plans via a third party agency. When chosing to use insurance, it is important to understand your benefits and what they cover with regard to mental health services. Often outpatient therapy is covered with in network providers, however, some plans only cover a few sessions and others none. Any sessions not covered by insurance plans are the full financial responsibility of the client.
Depending on your insurance benefits, you may be eligible for out of network benefits. This means your therapy expenses may be reimbursed in part or in full. If you would like to utelize out of network benefits, I will provide you with a detailed reciept called a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
For potential clients that are interested in using their out of network benefits, I suggest you contact your insurance provider directly to discuss specifics and any limitations.
Some FSA & HSA accounts can be used for therapy expenses. I suggest you check with your provider as some will allow this and others will not.
