Fees and Insurance

One of the first questions potential clients ask me is “okay, so how much does therapy cost?” And I totally get it! The most important thing to know is that therapy is an investment that can improve your life dramatically! It’s hard to speak to the value you will find in therapy because it is an experience, however, I can speak to the benefits!

Benefits of Working With Me:

90 Minute Intake Session

We begin with a 90 minute intake in which we go over the details and set concrete goals so we know what we’re working toward.

Weekly Sessions

We’ll meet weekly for 50 minute sessions until your goals are met (and you decide when they’re met – not me!)

Wasting No Time

I want you to get benefits right out the gate so we begin with what is most important to you!

Flexible Online Scheduling

Accommodate your busy schedule. Need to change it up? No problem – you can easily do this through your client portal.

Appointment Reminders

No more wondering when you scheduled your next appointment! You will receive personalized appointment reminders before each and every appointment.

Coordination of Care

With your permission, I will coordinate care with other providers to make sure that we are all on the same page.

Quality

I maintain a small case load so I can provide quality services to my clients. This allows me to be more accessible between sessions.

Responsive

I respond promptly to communication between sessions. You also have the option of using a secure messaging feature through your client portal for added privacy.

Pricing

90 Minute Intake Session – $200

50 Minute Individual Session – $150

I am able to extend sessions at a rate of $50 per 30 minutes.

Insurance

I am now accepting select insurance plans via a third party agency. When chosing to use insurance, it is important to understand your benefits and what they cover with regard to mental health services. Often outpatient therapy is covered with in network providers, however, some plans only cover a few sessions and others none. Any sessions not covered by insurance plans are the full financial responsibility of the client.

Depending on your insurance benefits, you may be eligible for out of network benefits. This means your therapy expenses may be reimbursed in part or in full. If you would like to utelize out of network benefits, I will provide you with a detailed reciept called a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

For potential clients that are interested in using their out of network benefits, I suggest you contact your insurance provider directly to discuss specifics and any limitations.

Some FSA & HSA accounts can be used for therapy expenses. I suggest you check with your provider as some will allow this and others will not.
